What we have been up too...

Well my first term of Nursing school is over..... YAY! only 3 terms left (9 months to go) I finished with an A on my final and a very high B overall. I am excited that I was able to get my 91 on the final. I try for the 90 on every test but always fall short to a range of 86 to 88. I know it is still a great grade but I want the 90. Some of you have asked about graduation so, my tentative graduation date is Sept. 8, 2009.

Mike is in college, doing ok. He is still trying to find his way... he is going to focus on taking classes that interest him in his second semester. He has found that Marine Science isn't the direction he would like to pursue. He seems so passionate about History, I suggested that he follow that and see where it leads him. I totally believe you have to be happy in what you do, and if he loves history then he should go in that direction... so we shall see. I just want him to get an education, I don't care at this point what he takes as long as he stays.... life is just too hard to live without an education. I know this from plenty of experience... lol

Max is totally psyched about his new adventure. He recently got his drivers license, and starting today, he has a new job. He is working at the local grocery store in Merrill. He is doing ok in school... he is taking some advanced classes so they seem to be holding his interest. That in its self is not an easy task. :o)

Brandi and Bo, well they don't say too much to me... other than things are fine. So, I have to take it at that. I figure that it won't be long before I am a gramma.... I keep hoping that it won't be before I am 40 though.... lol

Ron, well he is just great! He is my biggest fan, and supporter. He is so encouraging and motivates me. As for his job, he is holding in there. I think he is finally seeing now though how much they take him for granted. He does so much for that company and goes without recognition, and he deserves so much more for all he does. I know he is hanging in until I get out of school, but after that I am not sure what he will do. Maybe he will go get his masters... I know how he loves to learn and likes going to school... lol.

and last but not least our Vince... he is so patient and loyal.... he is here everyday with a wagging tail and fuzzy face and he never judges... only loves us. I just wish I could spend more time with him.... I was hoping school might get easier now that I "have a handle on it" lol but I think it is just going to get harder... *sigh*

Well I hope because this blog is SOOO easy to use that I will continue to use it and keep those abroad that love us updated on our happenings....

Love you all...

Kat

I am soo proud of my daughter I know how hard it is to go back to school after so long. She never liked school after the age of 12. My hat goes off to her!!! I love her very much and so does Poppa. I keep him in the loop and you can see the proud look on his face when he hears her grades. We are proud of Mike too, he has a desire to make something out of his life to make a difference . He will be the first grandchild to go and finish college I know. Here's to you kid!!!
